A Winter Wedding Sparkling Love and Happiness
It doesn't get much more intimate and emotional than this.
This picture, captured by the fab Emma Griffin, Griffin Photography, set the scene for this stunning winter wedding. Lucy and Matt have a son and a daughter each from previous relationships, and this wedding was not just about the union of two people, but the coming together of two families to create a new one.
One of the bridesmaids asked me about an hour before the wedding how long it was until the ceremony. I told her it would be about 50 minutes, to which she replied, "That's good, so its less than an hour until I get a real step sister," and off she skipped.
Matt and Lucy chose Dreamcatcher as their winter wedding venue and created a very special winter wedding day, choosing exquisite gowns for the bride and bridesmaids, all burnished with fur, whilst the boys and the groom wore classic suits straight from the pages of Jane Austen. Add to this the magical floral arrangements created by Twigs and Greens, with make up and hair by Jo Chatterley and the magic just flowed.
The couple sat down to a sumptuous vintage tea party provided by Indulgence Catering and rounded the day off with a fish and chip delivery that evening.
It was a real privilege to be involved in this intimate wedding, and we all wish Mr and Mrs Phipps and their family every happiness in the future!
Here's a few more images of their very special day.
