Intimate wedding venue, Ta Mill is set in 45 acres of wonderfully unspoilt Cornish country side on the edge of the rugged romantic Bodmin Moor. This small wedding venue is a real gem. It's a micro wedding venue that really does have it all.
There's a range of different types of accommodation from a tradition Cornish farm house to skandi-style lodges for you and your guests to choose from. You can hold your small wedding ceremony in your choice of reception rooms in Ta Mill House which dates back to the 17th Century or pick a place in the resplendent gardens or grounds that feels right for you. If you have a slightly larger group, then the purpose designed and decorated ceremony room overlooking the pretty courtyard might be your chosen location for your wedding ceremony. Wherever you choose, you can be sure of a magical setting that's just right for the two of you and provides a real wow factor.
We encourage you to arrive the day before your intimate wedding day, giving you time to spend the evening relaxing in the spa facilities or enjoying a bbq in the stunning gardens, and maybe catching up with loved ones ahead of your special day. This way, there's no stress in getting to your wedding venue on your wedding day - simply roll out of bed, have your stylist come to your accommodation and help you get ready whilst you sip buck fizz and munch on croissants. What's more, after your ceremony your celebrations will run seamlessly as everything will be held on site.
To add to the purpose designed wedding facilities, there's also a whole range of other lovely features that will ensure your wedding stay is absolutely perfect whether its just you two or you bring family and friends with you. For children there's pitch'n'putt and a children's playground. For the adults, a wood-fired sauna with plunge pool, hot tub, swim spa and gym, and for everyone to enjoy a games room, nature trail, 2 wildlife ponds as well as friendly alpacas and sheep that you and your guests can feed and pet. They really have it all set up here for a truly wonderful wedding stay that everyone will enjoy.
Every wedding at Ta Mill is totally bespoke, and it's perfect whether you choose an elopement for just the two of you, a micros wedding with a handful of family and friends, or something slightly larger. What can we expect from an elopement or intimate wedding package at Ta Mill?
Elopement for 2
You can enjoy 2 or 3 nights mid-week or weekend stay in one of the 4 star luxury cottages at Ta Mill. The elopement package includes accommodation for 2, complimentary use of the site hot tub, a bottle of champagne, a bridal bouquet with buttonhole and Ta Mill will provide 2 witnesses for your legal wedding ceremony. On your wedding day, after your wedding ceremony, you will be treated to a delicious three course wedding meal freshly cooked your own private chef and served in the comfort of your cottage or we can provide a luxury hamper for you to share.
