The estate includes tennis courts, a walled garden, charm-packed cottages with hot tubs, the photogenic lake and there’s even a marquee site if required, as well as a choice of beautiful inside spaces offering a range of options for your accommodation, ceremony and celebrations.
Casterton Grange is an exquisite Victorian mansion, designed by 19th Century architect Ewan Christian specifically with entertainment, comfort and relaxation in mind. Today you’ll find many of the original features of the property blending seamlessly with modern day luxury to provide a totally fabulous and unique wedding stay experience that’s just perfect for couples seeking to create life-long magical memories for themselves and their guests in unapologetic luxury!

Your Wedding at Casterton Grange
Casterton Grange specialised in 2-night wedding stays. We're great advocates of weddings that elongate the experience ensuring that no couple ever leaves their wedding celebrations feeling they haven’t had time to catch up with everyone! These rich seams of quality time surrounded by people you love are few and far between in life, and what better excuse to create this special time for you and your loved ones than you wedding?
For example, you can arrive the day before your wedding with friends and family staying on site in the beautiful accommodation and gather for a welcome drink. Once everyone has settled in, you can enjoy a welcome dinner: for those couples who would love to recreate the wedding tradition of the bride and groom spending the night before their wedding separately, there’s the option for the groom’s party to stay in Grange barn with the bridal party staying in Casterton Grange.
On your wedding day, wake up to a light breakfast and your chosen wedding day stylists arriving to help you get ready.
Casterton Grange has a legal wedding licence giving you a choice of locations within this intimate wedding venue for your wedding ceremony. We recommend going to for a visit or having a virtual tour so that you can get a feel for the spaces and choose the right one for your wedding day.
For example, the main house offers a choice of:
- the atmospheric Library, perfect for micro-weddings for up to 12
- the light and airy Orangery with fabulous views out on to the Estate and a gorgeous terrace that can also be utilised making it just perfect for groups of up to 30
- the Gothic Suite which is ideal for groups of up to 60
After your wedding ceremony you can enjoy celebratory drinks on your choice of terraces, or in the Grand Hall, followed by your choice of sumptuous wedding feast either at any number of the indoor options or in a marquee pitched in the grounds for you. Follow this with your first dance and even an after party for those staying onsite!
The morning after the night before, bring everyone staying at the Estate together for a hearty and leisurely breakfast whilst you regale wedding day tales and enjoy the company of your inner circle of guests. The team at Casterton Grange can arrange activities for you and your guests, for example clay pigeon shooting, tennis, spa treatments and more, and before you and your guests depart you could enjoy afternoon tea or a BBQ.

Accommodation
Casterton Grange Estate offers exquisite accommodation up to 34 guests in the main house and onsite cottages (with extra bedrooms available on request).

The chateau-like main house offers seven luxurious en suite bedrooms, two kitchens, Billiards Room, Sonos speakers throughout, an extra special bridal suite and the new Tower Lounge.

Grange Stables, Grange Lodge and Grange Barn are characterful luxury cottages located within the Estate, just a short walk from the main house. Together they provide a further 8 en suite bedrooms.
As well as original features, roll top baths and open fires, all the Estate properties are styled immaculately, making for a memorable and super-comfortable stay. Expect to be peppered with little luxuries the whole time: enjoy a welcome hamper, luxury toiletries, fluffy robes and slippers, and luxury linens. Each property even has its own hot tub!
What’s more, the 52-acre grounds also provide the perfect setting for a glamping village in summer months.
