Nearly two years ago we found a hidden garden and derelict house overlooking the harbour of Mousehole, even most locals didn't know it was there. We fell in love with it and in a head rush bought via an online auction. Our brief to Studio West, our architects was a simple: "design the perfect romantic house for two’.
It's covered in black rubber, like a wetsuit, the only one of its type in the South West. The principle was to create a stealth house that would disappear into the hillside and sub-tropical gardens it sits in. It's the ideal anniversary or honeymoon destination for two lovers to close the Moroccan gate behind them, and leave the world behind them. Its exclusive, private and designed to deliver unforgettable just for two experiences.
The beauty and quality of this property is far more than skin deep. Every element of the house is bespoke, using professional expertise from across the UK to create the wow factors. From master carpenters, glazing specialists to artists to lighting experts.
Aside from what you would expect from any other high quality holiday stay such as Blu-ray, Sky, washing /drier etc, no expense has been spared, from Siemen appliances, to the power blinds you can operate from your luxury bed.
